The Vestry
The lay leadership board of a parish church, named from the "vesting" room in which the group met in colonial days. The vestry shares with the clergy the spiritual leadership of the congregation. It also approves the budget and oversees the ministries and programs of the parish.

St. Peter's is a member of the worldwide Anglican Communion through the Episcopal Church in the United States. We uphold traditional Anglican theology that is summarized in the The Historic Creeds, The Book of Common Prayer, The 39 Articles, the Catechism, and The Homilies.
